Regular Share Account
Your savings may earn a higher rate of return than similar accounts at other financial institutions. A $10.00 balance maintains your membership with Potomac Federal. Your interest is compounded daily and paid on a monthly basis. You may have special accounts such as Christmas, Vacation, or whatever you prefer.
Christmas and Vacation Clubs
There accounts are designed for the member who wants to save their money or for a special vacation. The member can make deposits a number of ways: direct deposit, payroll deduction, by mail or in person. The vacation club can be withdrawn at any time, but the Christmas club can only be issued in October. The credit union automatically transfers your Christmas club to the account of your choice.
Share Certificates
You may choose from several high-yielding term accounts from 6 months to 2 years. Deposit a minimum of $1000 and choose the term and rate best for you. Dividends are compounded daily and paid monthly.

Share Draft (Checking) Account allows members to transact business by means of drafts, automated teller machine (ATM) cards, debit cards, automated clearing (ACH) drafts, or in person at a branch office without incurring enormous processing fees.

Potomac FCU is now offering mortgage loans. Refinance an existing mortgage or purchase a home and take advantage of our great rates.
Borrow up to 95% of the appraised value on refinances. PMI is required for anything over 80% of the appraised value.
For new mortgages, the maximum amount financed is up to 95% of the lower of the selling price, or the appraised value.
